Black Scale x The Tenderloin Project Video

This video is really profound. Its really refreshing to see a street wear brand like Black Scale giving back to the community. The Tenderloin has more than it's share of problems and they're very easy to spot on the surface. However this video shows the Tenderloins and its inhabitants in an almost surreal light. I honestly will never feel the same walking through the TL again after this video. Oh yeah, Flash might be the dopest dude ever...His words about the Orange provided some unreal insight into the lives of people living in that neighborhood plus he's crazy talented too. Star Power

"People say I'm crazy, body marked up like a wall in the 80's..."

This is my shit right now

Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, Kim Kardashian, ....Marge Simpson???

Most recognizable sex symbol ever, Diamond selling recording artist, Amateur porn star(sorry Kim K, Just keepin it real) And animated mother of 3. What do all of these women have in common you might ask? Well it just so happens that Marge Simpson is the most recent of this bunch to shed her clothes for Playboy. Yep, The wholesome, church going devoted wife and mother has graced the cover of this months issue of the popular mens magazine and we got the pictures to prove it...Aye Carumba!

Hawaii...So Amazing

Just got back from a nice vacation to the Hawaian Islands. Here's a few pictures i snapped along the way

Mayer Hawthorne is one soulful white guy

If you've never heard of Mayer Hawthorne you've been missing out on some good music. Dope songs and dope videos are what this guy is all about. Still kind of amazed a voice like that is coming out of a guy who looks like a door to door insurance salesman but i guess soul doesn't discriminate. His album "A Strange Arrangement" is out now and it's fire so check it out.

Nike SB “Brain Wreck” Dunk Hi

We caught sneak peaks of Todd Bratud's latest Nike collaboration a few months ago and were left wondering if they'd be released. Well now we learn that at least one lucky Skateshop will be getting these. Famelia Skateshop in Minneapolis will be dropping these October 9th and rumor has it that other select Skateshops across the country should receive them later this month. They've been changed up a bit from the original pictures but still one of the doper SB releases in awhile

Air Penny II Blk/ Copper

These are amazing! I honestly didn't think Nike could come up with a new colorway that would enhance the beauty of the Penny II's but I have been proven wrong. Kudos Nike...oh and these will be copped.

Mr. West Mr. West...

Well what can I say? Last night during the 2009 MTV VMA's Yeezy interrupted country singer Taylor Swift as she was giving her acceptance speech for best female video. Needless to say people are buzzing about it and lines have been drawn. There are those who respect Mr. West for having the balls to share his opinion while (many) others are angry with his douchebag antics. Love him or hate him Ye' is on everybody's tongue (no homo) right now...and uploaded into their photoshops

About Damn Time

Its been almost a year now since the rap duo, The Clipse ventured into the world of fashion with their brand Play Cloths. From the initial drop I've been down Play Clothes but i always had one question, Where is the Play Cloths x New Era collaboration? I've found myself asking this every season up until now. Play Cloths has hooked up with Atlanta based retailer Wish and New Era to create these dope new fitteds featuring Jack, The Play Cloths logo. Enjoy

Battle Of The Bay 5

After 2 days of rap and beat battles Grind Time's Battle of the Bay 5 is finally over. Got to see some of my favorite battlers go head to head and it was nothing short of amazing. The only flaw of the event was the beat battles that went on for way to long. I can't wait for GT to post the battles so I can see em again. Damn there were some good battles...The Saurus vs. Illmaculate, Conceited vs. Arsonal, Hollow Da Don vs. Passwurds, Madness vs. Kid Twist, Fresco vs. Kid Twist, Dumb vs PH and the list goes on.

District 9 aka Best Sci-Fi Movie In Years....

"D9" has one the most original science fiction stories ever seen on the silver screen...and I loved every minute of it! From the humans, to the aliens to the weaponry (omg the MECH) D9 was just superb in giving us a scenario that although was unrealistic could very well be the case if aliens ever did land on earth. It was so refreshing to see an "alien invasion" movie where a major U.S. city wasn't the target. D9 is officially in my book of great sci-fi films.

Pontypool

I've been wanting to see this film for a few months now and I was finally able to check it out today. It's not your average horror movie and it definitely puts a new spin on "zombies". If you don't mind using your imagination and can sit through good dialogue I recommend you view Pontypool.

San Francisco 49ers Training Camp

So this weekend i had the opportunity to attend my favorite football teams training camp. I gladly jumped at the opportunity to do so seeing as how we haven't been all that great the past few seasons. New coach, New coordinator, New system...I had to see how all this was shaping up so i went, and i took pictures, and here they are.

New Nike Hoop Shoe Commercial Vs Old Nike Hoop Shoe Commercial

It would seem Nike has hired a team of comedians to market and promote their latest Basketball kicks. It first started when Nike unveiled the Nike Hyperdunk by introducing us all to the Hyperdunk recovery center. Now they're back with the help of the Hyperizers. NBA stars Rashard Lewis("Ice-O"), Mo Williams(“Fog Raw”) , Andre Igudola(“Chief Blocka”) and future MVP Kevin Durant(“Velvet Hoop”)are here to let the world know, Don’t Criticize, Hyperize. Which one of these commercials do you find funnier and more importantly, Which shoe is nicer?
