No FLOMS's for us....

I gotta take a minute to reflect on what happened this past Saturday. Fresh and myself were both set to each grab a pair of the Nike x Livestrong x Futura dunks for Huf S.F. However we both decided to pass due to our utter disgust of that store's greed. The shoe which has a box price of $150 was released for the purpose of charity, all profits go towards Lance Armstrong's Livestrong cancer foundation. But helping people wasn't Huf's concern for they raised the price 1 day before the release to $250 just so they could make some extra ends. I love the design of that shoe and it was such a bonus to be able to contribute to that foundation because I've lost a loved one to cancer but there was no way that Fresh and I were gonna help Huf disrespect a good cause and line their pockets. Of course the shoes sold out anyway and a part of me does regret not copping, but a bigger part of me is satisfied with my decision to leave that line. Was that acceptable or am I just getting too old for the shoe game? Either way I've decided to chill on purchasing from Huf and am gonna jump on the Darkside Initiative bandwagon.

End rant......

Ever Wondered???

Ever thought about what might have happened if Tom ever really caught Jerry? Or if Sylvester finally got his hands on Tweety Bird? Or what if our favorite Saturday morning cartoons were shown on HBO instead of Nickelodeon? Well artist James Cauty just might have answered all these questions for us with his Splatter: the plausible impossibility of death in the minds of cartoon characters" art exhibit. Cauty has taken his theory of what would have happened in some of these situations involving our favorite characters and turned them into very vivid and very graphic 3-dimensional art. Considering how many times Jerry and Tweety narrowly escaped their animated enemies, Their demise was only a matter of time right?....Right?

Jordan XI "Space Jams"

About 9 years ago, The shoes MJ wore to defeat the Monstars were released to the general public for a lovely price tag of $125.00. They sold out most places in a day and if you ask any shoe head or Jordan fan about the "Space Jam" release in 2000 and they'll probably have a story or 3 about it. Fast forward to 11/27/2009, The "Space Jams" will be released again but this time, They're a limited quickstrike release with a $175.00 price tag...Happy camping guys

LOL!!!!

Watch this guy snap as his Delorean (that's right, DELOREAN!) gets repoed. This is too funny...

Imaginary Foundation

There are several T-shirt companies out there and for the most part their designs leave something to be desired. I stumbled across Imaginary Foundation a couple of years ago and i was instantly impressed. With its fresh and creative designs, Wonderful quality, Attention to detail and vivid colors, Imaginary Foundation tees are in a league of their own. Its like you're wearing a high definition T-shirt...Simply brilliant

Lebron VII's

I've never been a big fan of LBJ's signature shoes but the Nike Air Max Lebron VII's are nice. Not sure if I'm gonna cop or not but this is definitely a good look on Nike's part.

JoJo- Houstalantavegas

I'm not gon front, I'm a sucker for JoJo's voice and I think her version of Drake's "Houstalantavegas" is on point.

Nike x Futura Livestrong Dunk High "F.L.O.M."

What's not to like about this this shoe? Dope colorway, has different types of currency embedded on them and all profits go towards Lance Armstrong's Cancer Foundation. F.L.O.M's (For Love Of Money) are set to drop later this month.

Nike SB “Ms. Pacman” Eugene Backpack

Our friends at Nike are at it again. Last year around this time they released the Nike SB "Buzz Lightyear" Eugene Backpack inspired by the film Toy Story and now they've found inspiration in one of everyones favorite video game franchises. The yellow represents Ms Pacman herself while the red and cyan colors represent those pesky ghost. Keeping up with Nike SB'S backpack theme, This bag is like having a swiss army knife on your back so i'm sure you can find one really useful feature on it. Keep your eyes open as these should be hitting SB retailers within the next couple months

R.I.P Air Mcnair

One of the toughest men to ever put on a pair of pads and play this game. A true warrior and competitor. Tough as nails is what any NFL player who ever played with or against Mcnair would say when asked about his toughness. R.I.P Steve Mcnair and thank you for everything you've done for the game of football

Human Nature x Dwele

Watch Dwele as he recreates Michael Jackson's "Human Nature" as a tribute to the late great King of Pop. This is just amazing...

Nike Air Foamposite One "Coppers"

"Foams" are undeniably one of the best Nike products to ever release. Kudos to Nike for throwing this great colorway on an already great shoe. Scheduled to be released in Feb. 2010.

Can you say "robocopped"?

Nike Air Max 1 OG Sport Red

Nike's definitely been holding us down with the running shoes this year. From the Team Orange AM95 and OG colorway AM97 to the brilliantly executed Nike x Livestrong pack we've had no shortage of Nike running heat. Just when we thought they were all out of ideas, Here comes the Nike Air Max 1 in its original colorway. Designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield in 1987, The AM 1 was the first shoe to ever display a visible air bubble. Simply put, The AM1 changed the game and is a definite must have for any shoe enthusiast...What are you waiting for??? Go find a pair!
